LET’S assume you’ve never seen an alligator nudge open a door by the handle.
Apparently, the makers of action thriller The Flood seem to think this is possible in just one of the film’s many ridiculous moments.
A jail break during a Louisiana hurricane is interrupted by a horde of large hungry alligators that slide into a police station. Yep, that’s the premise, which could actually work if there was a suitable amount of skill involved in front of and behind the camera.
Bud sadly there isn’t. The terrible computer-generated alligators survive (or dodge?) countless gunshots on their way to chomping through the cast.
They’re lucky they don’t choke on one of the splinters from the wooden acting of perennial offenders like Casper Van Dien.
Possibly entertaining, if you plan to be under the influence of alcohol or other substances while watching.
