The Marvels ★★
IF YOU’RE not up with the Marvel Universe overall, including some of the television series, you can forget about the 33rd film, The Marvels, making much sense.
Granted it’s partly on me that I can barely recall the plot of 2019’s Captain Marvel and haven’t seen the television series Ms Marvel,
This is required viewing if you want to get anything more out of the latest film that a few interesting sequences, particularly where cats are used to ‘transport’ crew due to space limitations.
But having said that a sequel should be able to get people up to speed as well as, oh yeah, entertain.
This film looks flashy as always, but achieves little else.
