Anyone But You ★½

BRYAN Brown must be kidding.

He’s in the ensemble cast of American comedy Anyone But You, which is loosely based on William Shakespeare’s Much Ado About Nothing.

In an interview Brown claims the Bard would have been happy with the film.

I very much doubt it.

He would have been spinning in his grave at this shocker that tries to merge rom-com with raunchy comedy and fails at both.

It is set mostly in Sydney which means lots of shots of the Opera House and Harbour Bridge and depictions of dumb Australians.

The leads are fine but the supporting cast are all terrible. I laughed once at a joke about coffee.

Give this a wide miss.
