Tarot ★★

IF YOUR idea of a good horror movie is ample jump scares then Tarot may be for you.

Otherwise, there is nothing remotely interesting or new in this story of a group of people being terrorised by Tarot card figures come to life.

The visuals are fine and some of the figures are a little creepy.

But the only real suspense comes in waiting for the next one to jump out from the dark, screaming with arms outstretched towards its victim.

Along with Night Swim and Baghead, this is one the weakest horror films to get a theatrical release in 2024.
