FOR somebody whose been around the business for 30 years Jessica Alba really doesn’t have a lot to show for it.
Even in her best films, such as Sin City and The Killer Inside Me, her performances aren’t the best thing about them.
Alba’s latest is Trigger Warning, a 2024 American action thriller in which she plays a former Special Forces soldier who returns to her hometown after her father’s death.
The paint-by-numbers script has her trying to run her father’s business, meeting old flames and of course being bullied by the local, gun-running bad guys.
The action is okay but once again Alva fails to register as a strong lead.
