Suitable Flesh ★½

SUITABLE Flesh received good buzz on the 2023 festival horror film circuit.

I’m not sure why, as it left me underwhelmed.

Heather Graham plays a psychiatrist who becomes obsessed with one of her young male patients, leading her into a dark path of demonic possession.

Firstly, we are given no reason as to why the character makes a series of stupid, irrational decisions other than her claiming she couldn’t control herself , which is very lazy piece of writing.

The idea that you don’t get possessed by something until the third attempt is ludicrous, but not as ludicrous as the laugh out loud sex scenes.

Graham, Bruce Davidson and Barbara Crampton are locked in a battle to determine who can overact the most.
