No way up for downed flight

No Way Up ★★½

HOW’S this for a ridiculous premise.

A commercial flight crashes into the ocean and sinks. The surviving passengers are holed up in an air pocket at the rear of the aircraft with sharks stalking them.

It sounds like another version of Sharknado but, on a technical level at least, No Way Up is more on the slightly higher level of the recent Under Paris.

The collection of character is fleshed out a little better and the acting is certainly not terrible.

There are a couple of decent jump scares but some of the visual effects are lacking as is usual for this type of modern exploitation cinema.
